The Ordinary Moments – A haircut (finally)

20140202-124641.jpg

A pair of scissors, a few blinked back tears (mine) and 10 minutes later – I have a proper grown up boy!

And yes he may be eating a happy meal in the first photo. Judge me not, it was one of those days.

This post is linked up with to Mummy, Daddy, Me for the Ordinary Moments. Sharing normal, everyday moments that capture the essence of family life. Nothing special, nothing remarkable but memories that you don’t want to forget. AKA the nice part of my blog (usually).

P.S. I have a new book OUT NOW! You can nab it on Amazon here or in your lovely local bookshop :)

Ahhhh he looks lovely. The first hair cut is such a big deal, Cherry only had hers a few weeks ago. I think it’s worse with boys though as with girls you can still keep it quite long and it doesn’t looks that different. I’m dreading J’s, I really like this though, having it too short scares me a bit! X

He looks gorgeous Katie, such a handsome little man.

And what’s wrong with a happy meal?? Although my boy is more of a pie fan (he does have Wigan roots, so I blame it on that!)

Great job! Second career! My youngest has curls to his shoulders but I can’t bear to snip them just yet (he’s only 16 months – but has hair like Beyonce!).

He looks great! Can we have some haircutting tips please? M’s hair is poker-straight and threatening to get in his eyes so I have to do something about it. Even better would be tips about how to get them to sit still through said haircutting.
